Section 476.6 ROLL-CAGE
ADD:
The overall cage layout can be either the conventional “champ kart” design, or a “sprint car” design described as follows…
– The “champ kart” design consists of four main tubes – a rear hoop, two down tubes, and a front cross member between the down tubes.
– The “sprint car” design is also four main tubes but consist of two side tubes that run front to back, and two cross rails that connect the two side tubes in front and behind the driver’s head.
Both styles must comply with the height, width and other measurements that are listed in the following specifications. Both styles must also include the other additional safety tubes that are also listed in the following specifications.
