The axle must be of a one piece design, driving both wheels equally. It can be solid or tubular with a minimum diameter of 1” , and a maximum diameter of 40mm of ferrous materials. Exotic materials, such as carbon fiber or carbon fiber composite, titanium, etc. are prohibited. Snap ring grooves, or any machining other than for keyway, are prohibited in the area between the left and right wheel hubs. Axle shall not extend past the outside edge of the wheel.
